About Art
Art Porcelli joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in February 2003, following a 30-year career in the United States Navy. There, he attained the rank of commander and served as a naval aviator on the SH-2F and SH-60B military helicopters. In 1987, Art saved his crew and aircraft when the SH-60B helicopter he was flying crashed due to mechanical failure.

Art earned a bachelor's degree from the United States Naval Academy and master's degrees from both the Naval War College and Salve Regina University. He holds Series 6, 63 and 65 securities licenses plus life, health and variable annuity insurance licenses in Florida, Georgia and Kentucky. He is a member of the Financial Planning Association.

Art is a disciple of sound financial management and the practice of paying yourself first in the pursuit of financial independence. He advocates time-tested financial principles, including disciplined, long-term saving and investing, careful debt management, and a thoughtful insurance strategy to manage financial risk. Through a values-centered approach to financial planning and a client-first philosophy, Art is committed to helping his clients plan confidently for the future and to accompanying them on their financial journey.

Art is a member of the Mayport Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America, National Military Officers Association of America and the United States Naval Academy Alumni Association. He has three children and two grandchildren and is active in the local Boy Scouts.
