Dave Brooks
A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point (B.S., Mechanical Engineering), Dave served five years on active duty and seven years on reserve duty for the United States Army, where he attained the rank of Captain in the Army Corps of Engineers. He received the Soldier's Medal for Heroism, awarded for risking one's life to save another's in a non-combat situation.
As a First Command Financial Advisor, Dave is committed to helping his clients pursue their financial goals and lifetime dreams by bringing sound financial knowledge and trustworthy advice to a lasting relationship with each individual and family he serves. He is available to speak on a variety of financial topics to community groups and civic organizations at no cost to the organization.
Dave holds Series 6, 63, 65, 26, 24 and 7 securities licenses plus state life and health insurance licenses. A member of the Financial Planning Association, Dave has earned the Certified Financial Planner & Trade designation from the College for Financial Planning & CFP Certification Professional Education Program, and the Chartered Financial Consultant designation from the American College. He also holds the Chartered Life Underwriter designation and the College for Financial Planning & Master Planner Advanced Studies.
In his free time, Dave enjoys golfing, cooking, painting and spending time with his wife.
