About Howard
Howard Rush joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in November 1984, following four years of service in the United States Navy. There, he served as a surface warfare officer and attained the rank of lieutenant.

A graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science degree, Howard holds Series 6, 7, 24, 26, 63 and 65 securities licenses plus state life, health, variable annuity and property-and-casualty insurance licenses. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certificant, a certified Chartered Financial Consultant® and a Retirement Income Certified Professional®.

With over 35 years of financial planning experience, Howard brings a values-centered approach and client-first philosophy to financial planning. He is committed to helping his clients pursue their financial goals and lifetime dreams by bringing sound financial knowledge and trustworthy advice to a lasting relationship with each individual and family he serves.

Married for 40 years, Howard and his wife are actively involved in their local church's college ministry where they disciple and mentor Auburn University students. He enjoys fishing, running, golf and playing Pickleball.
