About Alonzo
Alonzo Portwine joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in June 2011, following six years of service in the United States Air Force. There, he was responsible for the installation and maintenance of telecommunication services during Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. He attained the rank of senior airman.

A graduate of Georgia State University with a double major in Finance and Marketing, Alonzo holds Series 7 and 66 securities licenses plus state life and health insurance licenses.

As a First Command Financial Advisor, Alonzo is committed to helping his clients pursue their financial goals and lifetime dreams by bringing sound financial knowledge and trustworthy advice to a lasting relationship with each individual and family he serves. An avid family man, Alonzo was called to be a Financial Advisor after he witnessed how the stress of saving for retirement affected his mother.

Alonzo is a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta and a youth coordinator at Faith Deliverance Christian Church. He enjoys football, basketball, boxing, poetry and playing Texas Hold 'em poker.
