About Lisa
Lisa Kim joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in October 2026. She previously worked for 5 years as a Financial Advisor at a well-known regional financial services firm.
A graduate of University of Maryland, University College with a bachelor's degree in Psychology, Lisa holds Series S63, S65, S6 securities licenses plus life and health insurance licenses in Maryland.
Understanding that the biggest obstacle to financial security for most people is their own behavior, Lisa serves as a personal financial coach to clients, continually reinforcing positive financial behaviors. She advocates time-tested financial principles, including disciplined, long-term saving and investing, careful debt management, and a thoughtful insurance strategy to manage financial risk. Lisa will work with you to establish specific, meaningful goals that are consistent with your values and then develop a personalized financial plan to guide your pursuit of those goals.
In her free time, Lisa enjoys golf, reading and spending time with friends.
