Kathryn Jensen

Kathryn Jensen joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in October 2025, following a 33-year career in the United States Military, split evenly between the US Air Force and US Army, where she attained the rank of Major. Kathryn understands the challenges and opportunities associated with life in the military and is committed to helping service members and their families get their financial lives squared away.

A graduate of American Intercontinental University with a master's degree in education, Kathryn holds SIE, Series 6, Series 63, and Series 65 securities licenses, as well as life and health insurance licenses in IA, KS, NE, and MO.

Understanding that the biggest obstacle to financial security for most people is their own behavior, Kathryn serves as a personal financial coach to clients, continually reinforcing positive financial behaviors. Her thorough knowledge of military pays and benefits enables her to advise clients on how to navigate the Blended Retirement System, properly allocate their contributions to the Thrift Savings Plan (TSP), and take full advantage of other benefits. Kathryn will work with you to establish specific, meaningful goals that are consistent with your values and then develop a personalized financial plan to guide your pursuit of those goals.

In her free time, Kathryn enjoys bike riding, golf, and swimming.

Active in her community, Kathryn is a member of the Air Force Sergeants Association, the American Legion, and VFW.
