About Jay
Jay Schwartz joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in February 2015, following a 20-year career in the United States Army Medical Service Corps, where he attained the rank of Major. Jay understands the challenges and opportunities associated with life in the military and is committed to helping service members and their families get their financial lives squared away.
Jay has a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of South Dakota and a Master's degree in Healthcare Administration from the Army Baylor University Master's Program. He holds Series 60, 63, and 65 securities licenses plus life and health insurance licenses in Kentucky, Maryland, South Dakota, and Tennessee.
Jay is committed to coaching clients to pursue their financial goals and lifetime dreams by bringing sound financial knowledge and trustworthy advice to a lasting relationship with each individual and family he serves.
Active in his community, Jay is a member of Leadership Clarksville, a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives, and coaches various youth sports- baseball, basketball, football, and softball.
In his free time, Jay enjoys working out, golf, and spending time with friends.

Today, more than 500 First Command Financial Advisors across the country and abroad, many of whom also served, are committed to the company's Mission of Coaching those who serve in their pursuit of financial security.
