Shannon Myrick

Shannon Myrick joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in January 2025. She is excited about the opportunity to help people make the smart financial decisions that are essential to long-term financial security.

A graduate of Drexel University with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Industry, Shannon holds Series 6, 63, 65 securities licenses plus life and health insurance licenses in WV,VA,NC.

Understanding that the biggest obstacle to financial security for most people is their own behavior, Shannon serves as a personal financial coach to clients, continually reinforcing positive financial behaviors. She advocates time-tested financial principles, including disciplined, long-term saving and investing, careful debt management, and a thoughtful insurance strategy to manage financial risk. Shannon will work with you to establish specific, meaningful goals that are consistent with your values and then develop a personalized financial plan to guide your pursuit of those goals.

Active in her community, Shannon is a volunteer for Richmond Animal Care and Control.

In her free time, Shannon enjoys listening to music, reading, and traveling.
