Daniel Kurtz

Daniel Kurtz joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in December 2013, following four years of service in the United States Marine Corps. There, he served as a battalion collections officer deployed to Afghanistan, and as an infantry officer mentor to officers of the Armed Forces of Liberia, while deployed to Liberia.

A graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Daniel holds Series 6, 63 and 65 securities licenses plus state life and health insurance licenses.

Understanding that the single most powerful contributor to financial well-being is behavior, Daniel works closely with his clients to develop personalized financial plans that reflect their values, address their priorities and support their goals. Each plan includes recommendations for specific financial products and services to support those goals.
